Delete your RaceCoach account
You can delete your RaceCoach account and its data at any time, in the app or by email. You don't need the app installed to ask us.

Paying for Entry or Pro? Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account doesn't cancel it, and you'd keep being charged. Cancel in your App Store subscriptions (iPhone and iPad) or your Google Play subscriptions (Android).
Option 1: in the app
- Open RaceCoach and sign in.
- Go to Account and tap Delete account.
- Read the warnings. If you own boats with crew, you can transfer ownership first in My Boats so your crew keep the boat.
- Enter your password and tap Delete account permanently.
Your account is deleted straight away and the app signs you out.
Option 2: by email, without the app
- Email jon@traditiodigitalis.com from the email address you use to sign in to RaceCoach, with the subject "Delete my RaceCoach account".
- We reply to that address to confirm the request is yours. We never ask for your password.
- Once you confirm, we delete your account and tell you when it's done, within one month at the latest and usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account (email address, password and sign-in details).
- The boats you own, with everything stored under them: Performance Log, Session Notes, photos, voice notes and Vakaros sessions. They are deleted for your crew too.
- Your crew memberships on other people's boats, and your voice notes and photos there.
- Your subscription record at RevenueCat, our subscription provider.
- If you delete in the app, RaceCoach's data for that account on your phone.
What is kept, and for how long
- Text notes you added on someone else's boat stay with that boat, with your name removed. Vakaros sessions you imported to someone else's boat stay with the boat and count as the owner's.
- Backups are overwritten within 7 days, and files may stay in temporary caches for a short time.
- Server and sign-in logs, which include IP addresses, are kept for up to 7 days.
- Crash reports, which don't identify you, are kept for 30 days.
- Billing records: Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases, and we keep subscription and invoice records for as long as accounting and tax law requires.
